Destiny Renee is a multifaceted professional who brings both technical skill and personal insight to her work. She currently serves as an administrative assistant at Kelly Home Healthcare Inc. and Zurik Healthcare Institute Inc., while also running her own digital development company, Butterflies Nest. Founded in 2021, Butterflies Nest specializes in QR coding, flyers, menus, business cards and digitizing paperwork—services that help individuals and businesses present themselves clearly and effectively.
Outside of work, Destiny is a lover of adventure and a proud mother. Whether traveling or exploring her own city, she values making memories and sharing moments of joy. Her degree in child psychology and her instinct to care deeply for others reflect her commitment to guiding people toward wellness—one interaction, project or workshop at a time.
Her connection to youth empowerment runs deep. Drawing from vivid memories of her own teenage years and the emotional challenges that came with them, Destiny is passionate about being a resource for the next generation. She sees mental health as a foundation for personal and social well-being—something that affects not only the mind but also the body, relationships and overall life direction. Her goal is to help young people feel seen and supported, particularly in a digital age that can both uplift and overwhelm.
At Youth Empowerment Day, Destiny will facilitate the workshop “Social Media & Mental Health.” Designed to be both engaging and honest, the session uses communication, music and movement to spark “real talk” about what today’s social feeds and algorithms are doing to the hearts and minds of youth. She emphasizes self-awareness and emotional inventory as tools for navigating digital life with confidence and clarity.
